Who can take the TR-YÖS exam?

As your YÖS Advisor, we provide detailed information on who can apply for the TR-YÖS exam for international students wishing to pursue university education in Turkey.

The following candidates are eligible to apply for the TR-YÖS:

International Students: Students who are not citizens of the Republic of Turkey and have graduated from a high school or equivalent educational institution.

High School Graduates or Graduates-to-Be: Candidates who will have a high school diploma or will be graduating by 2026 can take the exam.

Those with Internationally Recognized Diplomas: They can apply to TR-YÖS with their high school diploma or equivalent documents obtained in their own countries.

Those Who Meet Specific Exam Requirements: In addition to TR-YÖS, some universities also accept international exam results such as SAT, ACT, or GCE; YÖS Danışmanım guides students on this matter.
